We believe that mission flows from worship. The Synod shall therefore meet annually for prayer, study
of the Scriptures, mutual encouragement, and the furtherance of common mission. (Constitution and Canons of the Anglican Diocese of the Upper Midwest, Title I.2.1)

O worship the King all-glorious above,
O gratefully sing his power and his love:
our shield and defender, the Ancient of Days,
pavilioned in splendor and girded with praise.

Lord, enthroned upon the praises of your people (Psalm 22:3), receive the worship of our diocese and respond with inspiration, guidance and power for the mission you would have us to carry out. We pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
